Thinking of getting a job after your studies? Are you transitioning to a new career? Do you want a professional boost to showcase your personal brand? The Faculty of Graduate Studies is pleased to invite you to a newly launched Professional Development Workshop (PD) Series on Effective Communication & Career Building. The purpose of the workshops is to provide you with practical resources to launch or fulfill your career goals.  This series includes four modules:

October 21, 2017 Module 1: Improving your writing & editing skills
October 28, 2017 Module 2: Balancing Act: Choosing appropriate technology with your presentation
November 4, 2017 Module 3: Building your personal brand
November 18, 2017 Module 4: Getting a job (Cover Letter/Résumé/Interview Techniques)

Cost: $250 for all 4 modules; $75 each module for AU Graduate students & alumni

Cost: $350 for all 4 modules; $100 each module for Graduate students from University of Lethbridge, University of Calgary & University of Alberta.
